Can you use Ferulic Acid while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We haven't found a pregnancy-specific study on topical ferulic acid. A review of skin care in pregnancy notes that, apart from hydroquinone and tretinoin, most topical products act locally with minimal absorption. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it.
